I know there's some TX2Kers around here so this should be good. The Harris County sheriff's department (that's Houston for you Yankees) used a deputy's Corvette C7 Stingray equipped with the Performance Data Recorder to catch street racers in the act on March 20 — the same weekend the TX2K event was in town.
I can't get the videos to load on my work computer or my phone (perhaps they were removed from YouTube?) so you'll just have to take !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for it... or maybe you'll have better luck.

There's nothing undercover about NJSP HEMI powered Chargers with lights in the grill...but if you're going to do anything like this, you should start taking notice of the light bars. They're not hidden very well...

I'm sorry... did I call it an undercover Charger with a light bar? Because I really meant to call it an undercover CORVETTE. Must have been my mistake.

No, I meant up here in NJ. We don't have true undercover cars. They're either marked or unmarked...no real fun cars around here...

Damn, I guess Texas has been stepping up their HP-Wars game considering the kinds of stuff they used to run last decade.

To be fair the Corvette was owned by a deputy and not a patrol car. It was truly undercover.
